Oil Change in Eureka, CA

Know What's Going On With Your Car

Most people leave an oil change knowing one thing: the oil got changed. At Broadway Automotive, an oil change is when you find out where you stand. Every service includes a full digital inspection with photos, so you leave knowing what's in good shape, what's starting to wear, and what may need attention next.

Oil Change Pricing

$110

Full synthetic oil service, up to 5 quarts, including tire rotation and digital vehicle inspection.

$10 per quart for each quart over 5.

Many trucks and SUVs take 6 to 8 quarts, so a larger engine typically runs $120–$140.

You'll know your vehicle's capacity before we start, so the number at the counter is the number you expected.

What Your Oil Service Includes

Each part of the service is there to help you protect the car and understand its condition.

  • Full synthetic oil — correct viscosity, with better resistance to breakdown under heat than conventional oil

  • New quality filter — matched to your vehicle's specification and replaced every service

  • Tire rotation — helps promote even wear, so you can get more life out of your tires

  • Digital inspection — photos and notes, so you can see your car's condition for yourself

  • Fluid level check — brake, coolant, transmission, power steering, and washer fluid, where applicable

  • Tire pressure & tread check

  • Oil life monitor reset

We've standardized on full synthetic for every vehicle we service, and we'd rather not cut that to hit a lower advertised price.

Rotation performed when appropriate for the vehicle and tire configuration.

We do not service diesel engines.

Your Digital Vehicle Inspection

You don't have to take our word for what we can show you. When we note a cracked belt, torn boot, leak, or worn tire, you'll usually be able to see exactly what we're talking about on your own vehicle.

That means you get to decide. What needs doing now, what can wait until next time, what you want to keep an eye on. You're not guessing, and you're not being told.

We ask you to drop the vehicle off rather than wait, and that's for your benefit as much as ours. It gives you time to actually look at what we found and ask questions, instead of making a decision on the spot with one eye on the clock and somewhere else to be.

How Often to Change Your Oil

Every 5,000 miles or 6 months generally, whichever comes first.

How you drive matters too. If your vehicle sees very few miles, you may be able to go longer — we'll tell you if that's your situation.

Waiting saves little

Stretching from 5,000 to 7,500 miles saves roughly one oil change a year. Across the entire life of a vehicle, maybe $1,400.

Short trips are demanding

When an engine doesn't fully warm up, fuel dilution and moisture can accumulate instead of burning off.

Repairs can cost much more

Extended intervals can contribute to sludge, accelerated timing-chain wear, and turbocharger problems.

Newer engines ask more

Direct injection can increase fuel dilution on repeated short trips, while turbochargers expose oil to very high temperatures.

You already own the engine. Protecting it is a lot less expensive than replacing it.

Come See Us Sooner If You Notice

  • The oil light or oil-pressure light comes on

  • Oil spots appear where you park

  • Unusual ticking or knocking, especially at startup

  • A burning-oil smell or noticeably dropping oil level

An oil light is not a next-week problem. If it comes on while you're driving, pull over safely and call us.
