How long does an oil change take?

Plan on about an hour. We schedule oil services so there is time to change the oil, rotate the tires, and complete the inspection without rushing it. We recommend dropping the vehicle off.

Do I need an appointment for an oil change?

It helps, and we can usually get you in quickly. Call or text and we will find a time.

Is the tire rotation really included?

Yes, with every oil service when it is appropriate for your vehicle. Some setups, such as staggered tire sizes or other configurations that do not allow normal rotation, are exceptions. If we do not recommend rotating yours, we will tell you why.

What kind of oil filter do you use?

A quality filter matched to your vehicle's specification, replaced every service. Ask at the counter and we will tell you exactly what is going on your car.

My car says 10,000 miles. Why do you recommend 5,000?

Some manufacturers allow intervals as long as 7,500 or 10,000 miles. We recommend 5,000 because driving conditions vary, and repeated short trips, cold starts, idling, and incomplete warm-up can be harder on the oil. The extra service is inexpensive insurance against stretching the oil farther than the way you actually drive supports.

Do you work on diesels?

No, we do not service diesel engines.

Full synthetic oil service, up to 5 quarts, including tire rotation and digital vehicle inspection.

$10 per quart for each quart over 5.

Many trucks and SUVs take 6 to 8 quarts, so a larger engine typically runs $120–$140.

You'll know your vehicle's capacity before we start, so the number at the counter is the number you expected.
